About Infant Swim Resource (ISR)

ISR is the global leader in survival swim lessons for infants and young children, pioneering the industry since 1966. With nearly 60 years of research and more than 19 million lessons delivered, ISR’s proven method teaches children real-life self-rescue skills. Our mission—Not One More Child Drowns—drives everything we do, because we believe the child must be part of the drowning prevention plan. With over 450,000 graduates and countless documented survival stories, ISR continues to lead the way in saving lives—one child at a time.

The ISR Mission

Today, our mission, “Not One More Child Drowns,” is the foundation of everything we do and is the driving force behind ISR’s employees, our independent ISR Instructors, and our major corporate partnerships. We believe the successful prevention of the leading cause of accidental death for children under the age of 4 in the U.S. will require a large group of caring and capable professionals whose sole focus is to save lives.

Why ISR?

With over 19 million lessons delivered and more than 450,000 graduates, ISR has proven that children can—and do—save themselves. While layers of protection like fences and supervision are important, they’re not always enough. That’s why ISR focuses on the missing link in drowning prevention: the child. We believe every child is capable of learning life-saving skills, and we’re here to help them do exactly that.
